Hackathon Contest Rules

1. Introduction

Welcome to the [Hackathon Name] organized by Idea Trek LLC, DBA Trekathon ("Organizer," "we," "our," "us"). By participating in this hackathon ("Contest"), you agree to abide by these Contest Rules ("Rules").

2. Eligibility

Participants must be at least 18 years old or have the permission of a parent or guardian.
The Contest is open to individuals and teams.
Employees of Idea Trek LLC, its affiliates, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

3. Registration

All participants must register for the Contest through our official website.
Registration opens on 6/18/2024 and closes on 9/1/2024.

4. Contest Period

The Contest begins on 9/2/2024 at 00:01 and ends on 9/30/2024 at 23:59
All project submissions must be received by the end date and time specified.

5. Project Requirements

Projects must be original and created during the Contest period.
Projects must be completed using WiX Studio, which is a distinct platform from other WiX services and products.
Teams are limited to 5 members.
Participants must provide a working prototype or demo, along with source code and documentation.

6. Submission Guidelines

Submissions must be made through [Insert Submission Platform] by [Insert Submission Deadline].
Each submission should include a project description, list of team members, and any other required information specified by the Organizer.

7. Judging Criteria

Projects will be judged based on the following criteria:

Innovation: Creativity and originality of the idea.

8. Prizes

Participants must comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

10. Intellectual Property

Participants retain ownership of their projects.
By submitting a project, participants grant the Organizer a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, distribute, and display the project for promotional purposes.

11. Limitation of Liability

The Organizer is not responsible for any damages, loss, or injury resulting from participation in the Contest.
The Organizer reserves the right to modify or cancel the Contest at any time for any reason.
